Vintage Afghan Baluch Geometric Wool Rug – 1′8″ × 2′9″

This one-of-a-kind vintage tribal rug is attributed to the Afghan Baluch weaving tradition.

A bold red geometric floral medallion anchors the rich cobalt-blue central field. Golden-yellow outlines emphasize its architectural form, while large stepped motifs above and below create a balanced, symmetrical composition.

The central panel is surrounded by repeating floral and star-like forms in burgundy, red, light blue and green. A wide outer border introduces diagonal geometric elements in navy, red and yellow, adding further movement and visual depth.

Measuring approximately 20 × 33 inches, this compact handmade rug is beautifully suited for a bedside, small entryway, reading nook or home office. Its narrow proportions also make it an excellent decorative wall textile.

Subtle fading, low pile, edge character and slight irregularity reflect its vintage age and handmade construction.
