Vintage Afghan Baluch Double-Medallion Rug – 1′6″ × 2′9″

This one-of-a-kind vintage accent rug is attributed to the Afghan Baluch weaving tradition.

Two octagonal medallions form the center of the composition, arranged vertically within a dark navy and black hourglass-shaped field. Surrounding geometric forms introduce angular movement, while multiple finely patterned borders frame the design in deep burgundy, brick red, rust, terracotta and brown.

The rug’s compact 18 × 33-inch dimensions make it especially suitable beside a bed, in a small entryway, reading corner or home office. It may also be displayed vertically as a decorative wall textile.

Low pile, subtle fading, tonal variation and slight irregularity reflect its vintage age and handmade construction.
