Vintage Afghan Turkmen Wool Runner – 2′ × 4′7″

This one-of-a-kind vintage runner is attributed to the Afghan Turkmen weaving tradition.

Its warm brick-red field is organized into rhythmic rows of geometric gul-style motifs in ivory, camel and dark brown. Alternating rosettes introduce additional detail, while layered burgundy and brown borders frame the composition with repeating diamonds and finely scaled geometric patterns.

The rug’s compact 24 × 55-inch proportions make it ideal for a short hallway, entryway, kitchen, bedside area or narrow transitional space.

Subtle fading, edge character and slight irregularity reflect its vintage age and handmade construction.
